Woodson's game-sealing INT leads Raiders to first winning record since '11
Charles Woodson added another chapter to his legendary career.
The 39-year-old Oakland Raiders safety had a game-sealing interception in Sunday's win against the Cleveland Browns. The win sets up Oakland with a 2-1 record -- the first time they've been over .500 since November 2011.
Less than two weeks ago Woodson sustained a dislocated shoulder, but the eight-time Pro Bowler refused to miss any time.
"Charles has had a number of interceptions over his storied career and came up big for us there," head coach Jack Del Rio told reporters after the game. "He made a nice play and got his feet in. He had a good hold on it and got his feet down so it was a great end. You know, games in the NFL are close every week. Some teams are able to make a play at the end, and we came up with a big one there."
It's fair to say the state of Ohio has seen enough of the 1997 Heisman Trophy winner.
