Wolff: I'm going to be starting next to Malcolm Jenkins this year

The future is unpredictable and no one knows if the Eagles will draft a safety with one of their early selections in the 2015 NFL Draft, but Eagles safety Earl Wolff is not worried at all. Entering his third season in the NFL, Wolff is dedicated to winning the team's starting safety spot next to entrenched starter Malcolm Jenkins.

"I told [Eagles safety] Malcolm [Jenkins], I don't know what they're going to do in the draft this year," Wolff said Tuesday during an appearance on my radio show along with Joe Staszak on 97.5 FM The Fanatic in Philadelphia. "But I told him 'I'm going to be starting next to you this year.' When I'm healthy, they know what kind of player I can be. I just went through so much adversity it's crazy and I can't wait to get back out there."

Wolff needs to first focus on battling the injury bug that has plagued his career thus far. He has dealt with knee injuries that have cut his last two seasons short, and the first step toward starting will be staying healthy.
