Wilson authors another masterpiece in Seahawks' lopsided romp

No Jimmy Graham, no problem for Russell Wilson and the revitalized Seattle Seahawks offense.

Wilson turned in another gem in his first game without injured starting tight end Graham, throwing for three touchdown passes and 274 yards while rushing for 51 yards and another score in Seattle's 38-7 romp at the Minnesota Vikings.

It was the third consecutive superb performance for Wilson, who has thrown for 11 touchdown passes versus zero interceptions during the Seahawks' three-game winning streak. Russell is 66-of-86 for 879 yards and an off-the-charts passer rating of 148.2 in that span.

"We've been resilient all year. It's showing up now," said Wilson, who had only 10 scoring passes and seven picks in his first nine games. "We are playing at our standard."

The turnaround in Wilson and Seattle's offense was best exemplified by a sequence late in the third quarter. Wilson broke loose on an apparent 53-yard touchdown run, only to have the score negated by a holding penalty.

On the very next play, Wilson connected with Doug Baldwin on a 53-yard scoring strike down the middle. It was fifth touchdown connection in two games for Wilson and Baldwin, who said his quarterback is "playing out of his mind."
