Tyler Lockett needed little time to flash his kickoff and punt return skills in the NFL. The rookie showed he can be a significant contributer in the passing game as well.

Lockett scored his first receiving touchdown on a 43-yard strike from quarterback Russell Wilson to help spark the Seattle Seahawks to a 20-3 road win at the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night.

"That was just a beautiful play for us," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said. "One of the best plays of the year."

The third-round speedster from Kansas State etched his name in the team record books, joining Nate Burleson as the only players in franchise history to score touchdowns on a punt return, kick return and reception in the same season.

Lockett established career highs with five receptions for 79 yards to lead the Seahawks in both categories. His touchdown catch with 2:44 left in the first half gave Seattle a commanding 17-0 lead.

"I hope we can continue to find he him deep," Carroll said. "He's obviously a big threat."

Lockett returned a punt for a score in his NFL debut and added a 105-yard kickoff return in Week 3. Thursday's score made him the only rookie other than Green Bay's Randall Cobb over the past 15 years to score TDs in all three manners.
