WATCH: Portuguese announcer puts spectacular spin on Johnson's TD
A touchdown is a touchdown in any language. Not all sound the same, however.
Arizona Cardinals rookie running back David Johnson ripped off one of the more impressive scoring runs of the season in Sunday night's 40-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Announcer Luis Felipe Freitas of Esporte Interativo, the Brazilian television station that broadcasts the game in Portuguese, delivered a call worthy of the highlight-reel 47-yard by Johnson, who powered through a small hole over right tackle before stiff-arming a pair of defenders en route to the end zone.
Esporte Interativo commentator Raphael Martins and NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth each voiced a similar slant during replays of Johnson's jaunt, referencing "Beast Mode" and Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks for the punishing nature of the rookie's touchdown.
