In an otherwise forgettable Week 7 first half against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins took a page out of the team's 2012 playbook -- out of the shotgun formation, Cousins took the snap, faked the hand off and ran it himself for an 8-yard touchdown.
Cousins finished the first half with just one rushing attempt, but he made it count. He wasn't quite RG3-esque on his run, from a speed standpoint, but he showed some surprising burst. Cousins' touchdown sparked a run of 21 unanswered points to pull the Redskins within 3 points at the end of the third quarter.
Kirk Cousins just scored. On the read-option. Because Football Sunday is awesome. #TBvsWAS https://t.co/TvuZ4arxEE
