Watch Falcons rookie blaze 101 yards on his first NFL touch

Preseason games are far from meaningless for the guys who are trying to prove they belong in the NFL.
Just ask J.D. McKissic, who did this Thursday night on his first NFL touch.

That's a 101-yard kickoff return for the Atlanta Falcons rookie receiver, an undrafted free agent from Arkansas State who also had a 14-yard punt return in the 23-17 win over Washington.
McKissic, who ranked first in the Sun Belt last season with a kick return average of 26.5 yards, says there are three things fans need to know about him.
“The first thing is that I’ll do anything to get on the field,” McKissic told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution back in May. “The second thing, is I can play special teams, offense or defense, it doesn’t matter. The third thing is that I do it for the love of the game.”
