San Diego's best offensive strategy is to throw it Antonio Gates' way.

Nearly every other Chargers receiver is hurt. But not their star tight end, who hauled in a first-quarter pass with only five fingers in Kansas City on Sunday:

The condions at Arrowhead Stadium? Windy and wet -- not an ideal climate for one-handed grabs.

Gates could care less. He's still padding that Hall of Fame resume at age 35.
