Chiefs wideouts better listen up when Alex Smith starts changing the play.
They know their quarterback can set them up to score -- like he did on this 44-yard strike to Albert Wilson on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium:
Smith must've seen something in San Diego's defense. He backed off from center, looked over at Wilson once or twice, and took a hurried snap.

It was the perfect pre-snap diagnosis. Wilson ran a slant and scored with ease to give K.C. an early lead.
What happens when Alex Smith reads the defense perfectly? Albert Wilson goes to the house for a 44-yard TD. #SDvsKC https://t.co/PFFlZjXvBc
