The New York Jets are hoping that the roster overhaul they did this offseason at wide receiver will improve a passing attack that ranked dead last in the NFL in 2014. The big piece that they hope will help is former Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall. Marshall is looking to bounce back from a injury-shortened 2014 season that saw him catch 61 passes for 721 yards and eight touchdowns. Those numbers were the lowest totals since his rookie season.

As he looks to bounce back in 2015, Marshall posted an Instagram video earlier on Monday showing him hard at work on his explosion, or as he translates it in the caption, so quarterback Geno Smith can "just throw it up."

Throwing it up to Marshall isn't a terrible idea as the wideout is 6-foot-4 and has a 37 inch vertical leap. Marshall's presence should help Smith improve in 2015 and open up the passing game for other targets such as Eric Decker and Jeremy Kerley to flourish this season.
