Fantasy Options For Week 2: Baltimore Ravens
Believe it or not, there are a few players to watch for your fantasy football teams this week during the Baltimore Ravens game. The Ravens face off against the Cleveland Browns which will surely turn into a lopsided affair, and here are three players you should target this week.

Baltimore Ravens Defense
NFL.com reports that the Ravens’ defense is only owned in 13% of all their leagues. However more and more fantasy owners are realizing the value of the Ravens defense. The Ravens defense looked stout against the Bills, but only scored a modest six points. The Eagles defense did very well last week against the Browns. This week the Ravens should force turnovers and get more fantasy points than they did last week.
Mike Wallace
His production goes up and down more than most mountain ranges, so what makes it different this time? The Baltimore Ravens are not asking Wallace to be “the guy.” His career numbers began to dip before leaving Pittsburgh after the retirement of Hines Ward. Since then, he has not reached 1000 yards receiving. Wallace needs someone else to take the coverage, so he can go take the top off the defense. He’s not a guy who can take and beat double teams; his stat line last week, three receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown shows his big play potential. With many weapons around Wallace, we’ll have to see if he can be a consistent fantasy option.
Justin Forsett
Last week, the Ravens didn’t run the ball very well, but any Rex Ryan defense makes it hard to run. Plus, the game stayed close for all four quarters. The Browns will likely be well behind by halftime. Translation, we get to see a healthy dose of the running game. Look for Forsett and West’s carries to increase as they bleed time of the clock in the second half. Starting Forsett as a RB2 or flex works as a safe play this week.
