Titans sit WR Kenny Britt with cracked rib vs Jets

Published Sep. 29, 2013 3:51 p.m. ET

Tennessee wide receiver Kenny Britt will not play against the New York Jets with a cracked rib, and Kendall Wright is starting in his spot.

The Titans deactivate Britt on Sunday after the receiver had been listed as questionable. Britt hurt his rib in last week's 20-17 win over San Diego, when he also struggled, going without a catch and also drawing a couple of penalties.

Also inactive for the Titans is running back Shonn Greene, a free agent signee this offseason from the Jets. Defensive tackle Sammie Hill misses his second game with a sore right ankle.

The Jets already had announced cornerback Dee Milliner and running back Chris Ivory as out against Tennessee. Darrin Walls is starting for Milliner.
