Tennessee defensive back Jason McCourty has been deactivated against the New Orleans Saints after suffering a concussion a week ago at Buffalo.

McCourty had been a game-time decision after not practicing all week. He warmed up on the field Sunday before the Titans deactivated him. Alterraun Verner will start in his spot opposite Cortland Finnegan.

The Saints are sitting running back Mark Ingram (toe), defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis (hamstring) and defensive end Turk McBride. Tom Johnson is starting for Ellis.

New Orleans also deactivated cornerback Leigh Torrence, linebacker Jonathan Casillas, tackle William Robinson and receiver Adrian Arrington.
