NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Titans have agreed to terms on a new deal to keep defensive tackle Al Woods in Tennessee, pending a physical.

Tennessee announced the deal in a story on its website Saturday. Woods' agency, SportsTrust Advisors, wrote on Twitter that the defensive tackle received a three-year deal to return.

The 6-foot-4, 307 pound Woods started all nine games he played for Tennessee last season and tied his career high with 31 tackles. He has 62 tackles combined over his two seasons with the Titans.

Woods has played in 69 career games after starting his career as a fourth-round draft pick by New Orleans out of LSU in 2010 only to be released in the final roster cuts. He also has played for Tampa Bay, Seattle and Pittsburgh.
