Head coach Rex Ryan continues to add former players from the New York Jets as he enters his first season as a coach for the Buffalo Bills.

On Thursday, the Bills announced that they signed tight end Matthew Mulligan to the roster. Mulligan played in 34 games with the Jets and Rex Ryan from 2009-2011.

Mulligan joins Charles Clay, Chris Gragg, Marquies Gray, rookie Nick O'Leary and undrafted free agents Clay Burton and Chris Manhertz at the tight end position.

Last season Mulligan spent time with both the Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans where he started one game for the Titans.
