Jamaal Charles wanted a Comedy Central-style roast. And Jamaal Charles got a Comedy Central-style roast.

The Chiefs all-star running back gathered family and friends in his hometown of Port Arthur, Texas for an evening of laughs. Instead, the "Jamaal Charles Roast" got a little spicy, according to the Kansas City Star.

Some of the highlights, as compiled by Arrowhead Addict:

Broncos' defensive coordinator Wade Phillips: "It looks like (Andy Reid) has got his whole team here. Now, I don't know (the rules about) having extra practices somewhere else. I'm not saying he's trying to bend the rules or anything."

Charles to former Texas teammate Vince Young: "The only reason why you scored (the final touchdown in the 2006 Rose Bowl) was because you were keying me the whole play. And I was on the sideline."

Charles to Andy Reid: "When we win the Super Bowl this year, who's going to put you on their shoulders and carry you?"

Tight end Travis Kelce to Reid: "I got you, coach."
