The Chiefs' playoff odds are much, much higher than a coin flip

The Chiefs turned their off-the-rails season into a one-way playoff journey.

That's what the statistics suggest, at least. According to ESPN Analytics, the team's postseason odds lay at a comfortable 85 percent.

In fact, the numbers suggest that Andy Reid's team has a 6.1 percent chance of reaching Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, Calif. Only the Patriots, Bengals, and Broncos have better odds.

They probably won't win the AFC West (10.9 percent chance). But they could win out (19.1 percent) -- and that's still amazing given where this team came from.
