The Houston Texans swapped picks with New England on Friday and drafted Miami cornerback Brandon Harris with the 60th overall selection in the second round.

The Patriots acquired the Texans' third-round pick (73rd overall) and fifth-round pick (138th overall) in the deal.

Earlier in the second round, Houston took Arizona linebacker Brooks Reed with the 42nd overall pick.

The Texans took Wisconsin defensive end J.J. Watt with the 11th overall pick on Thursday night. Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips vowed that the Texans would continue to use the draft to revamp the NFL's 30th-ranked defense.
