The polarizing No. 2 wide receiver of all time wasn't among the 2017 class announced during the NFL Honors awards show. After receiving word before the show, he shared his disappointing news with his fans.

FS1's Shannon Sharpe, a Hall of Famer himself, was not happy with the news.

Kurt Warner, who was voted into the 2017 class, also made the case for T.O., as did others.

"When you just look at what he accomplished, everybody looks and says, `C'mon.' The numbers are there, the impact is there," Warner told reporters.
