Tackle Gilbert inactive for Steelers vs. Saints

PITTSBURGH (AP) Pittsburgh Steelers right tackle Marcus Gilbert will miss Sunday's game against New Orleans with an ankle injury.

The Steelers placed Gilbert on the inactive list. Mike Adams will start in place of Gilbert as Pittsburgh searches for its fifth win in six games. Starting nose tackle Steve McLendon will also sit with a shoulder injury.

Cornerbacks Cortez Allen and B.W. Webb, linebacker Ryan Shazier, wide receiver Justin Brown and quarterback Landry Jones are also inactive.

John Jenkins will start at nose tackle for the Saints after the team placed Broderick Bunkley on injured reserve with a quadriceps injury.

Wide receiver Robert Meachum, running back Khiry Robinson, cornerbacks Stanley Jean-Baptiste and Terrence Frederick, nose tackle Lawrence Virgil, linebacker Kyle Knox and offensive tackle Nick Becton are also inactive for the Saints.
