As we count down to Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, Calif., it's time to look back on the magical and memorable moments in the 49 previous Super Bowls. FOX Sports senior NFL writer Alex Marvez has ranked the 50 greatest moments in the big game's big history, and every weekday from now until Feb. 7 we'll unveil the latest addition to our countdown. Today, we look back at moment No. 8, when Santonio Holmes' feet were just where they needed to be in Super Bowl XLIII.

The Steelers were on the verge of squandering a 10-point halftime lead and suffering a Super Bowl loss when Ben Roethlisberger and Santonio Holmes came to the rescue.

Holmes got both of his feet down in the back of the end zone on Roethlisberger's six-yard scoring throw just out of the reach of two Cardinals defenders for the game-winning touchdown with 35 seconds remaining.

Rubbing salt in the wound for Arizona, the referees then missed what should have been an excessive celebration penalty as Holmes used the football as a prop.

Here are highlights from Super Bowl XLIII.

Final score: Pittsburgh 27, Arizona 23
