Ladarius Green finally made it off of the PUP list. The team announced on Saturday that they have activated the tight end off of the physically unable to perform list and is eligible to play against the Cowboys.

To make room for Green on the roster the team waived linebacker L.J. Fort. Ben Roethlisberger mentioned during the week in practice what a weapon Green can be to the offense that has struggled recently.

“He is a guy who can stretch the field, who’s played the game of football before, who shows some speed, a big body. One of those guys we just talked about who can help in the middle of the field, so, excited for the opportunity to work more with him and to see what he can bring to this offense.” – Ben Roethlisberger

Touchdowns. We need him to bring touchdowns to this offense. Please.

    Look out for this guy

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler thinks that with a healthy Ben Roethlisberger, receiver Eli Rogers can get a significant role in the offense going forward. Rogers’ had a hot start but had his numbers hampered by a turf-toe injury and Roethlisberger going down.

Fowler thinks Rogers in the slot can be the key to jumpstarting this offense. All of the weapons now. Green, Rogers, Antonio Brown, Sammie Coates, Jesse James. All of the weapons.

    Primetime

Pittsburgh plays Dallas in the afternoon but Stephon Tuitt told Missi Matthews that it will be primetime football when the two teams match up. He said that the team has been inconsistent this season which accounts for the 4-1 start that has since turned into a 4-4 record.

He talks about how the defense is aware that one more sack for James Harrison will give him the title of all-time sack leader for the franchise and they’re actively working to get that for him. They’re looking forward to getting the chance to stop Cowboys rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot.
