A person familiar with the negotiations says the Washington Redskins have agreed to terms with first-round draft pick Ryan Kerrigan.

The Redskins reached the deal with the linebacker from Purdue late Thursday, according to the person who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the No. 16 overall selection had not yet signed the contract.

The Redskins negotiated throughout the day with their 12 picks. It appeared that most if not all would be signed in time to take part in the first training camp practice Friday morning.

Second-rounder Jarvis Jenkins tweeted that his contract was signed shortly before Kerrigan's deal was settled.

The Redskins earlier reached terms with free agents Stephen Bowen, Chris Chester and Sav Rocca, who were set to sign their deals Friday afternoon.
