Sorry, Belichick: The players would rather play for Pete Carroll

Published Jan. 29, 2015 3:12 a.m. ET

Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll have two very distinctive, yet very different coaching styles. So which one would players rather play for?

Wednesday night on Players Only, Buffalo Bills Hall of Famer Jim Kelly and Chicago Bears defensive end Jared Allen joined Donovan McNabb and Randy Moss, who played for Belichick in New England, in picking which of the Super Bowl coaches they'd prefer to play for.

Spoiler alert: Belichick's not a popular guy this week. If ever.

Kelly, one of the best signal-callers of his era, also joined McNabb, Moss, Dave Wannstedt and Joel Klatt to talk about Rex Ryan in Buffalo, the quarterback matchup between Tom Brady and Russell Wilson in the Super Bowl, and his recovery from cancer.

Next up: Allen, who played both the Patriots and Seahawks this season, answered some of the biggest questions about both teams in Super Bowl XLIX.
