Sensabaugh out for Cowboys vs. Buccaneers

Published Sep. 23, 2012 12:57 p.m. ET

Safety Gerald Sensabaugh is out for the Dallas Cowboys because of a calf injury.

Sensabaugh missed practice all week before Sunday's game against Tampa Bay. Danny McCray took over in the starting lineup for Sensabaugh, who got hurt in last week's loss at Seattle.

The Cowboys were again without Pro Bowl nose tackle Jay Ratliff (ankle) and center Phil Costa (back), who haven't played this season. Dallas released cornerback Mario Butler and signed linebacker Orie Lemon.

Tampa Bay was without rookie cornerback Anthony Gaitor because of a hamstring injury. Cornerback E.J. Biggers (foot), who was listed as probable, was instead inactive.

The Buccaneers put receiver Sammie Stroughter on injured reserve. Tiquan Underwood, the receiver re-signed this week when Preston Parker was released, was active for the game.
