METAIRIE, La. (AP) New Orleans Saints have signed draft picks Vinnie Sunseri, Ronald Powell and Tavon Rooks to four-year contracts.

Saints general manager Mickey Loomis says each player signed for four years, but he did not disclose financial terms.

Sunseri, a safety and special teams standout from Alabama, was taken in the fifth round. He played in seven games with six starts in 2013 before a season-ending knee injury. He was credited with 20 tackles, two interceptions returned for touchdown and six passes defended.

Powell, a 6-foot-3, 237-pound outside linebacker from Florida, also was a fifth-round pick. He played in 11 games last season, making 26 tackles, including a team-high four sacks.
