The Saints have deactivated tight end Jeremy Shockey and starting linebacker Scott Shanle for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Saints defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis is back in the lineup after missing last weekend's game against Dallas with a sore left knee.
Shanle missed practice the past week because of a concussion that occurred during New Orleans' loss to the Cowboys. Shockey also missed last week's game with an injured toe.
New Orleans also scratches receiver Lance Moore, who has a sore right ankle; Randall Gay, who also had a concussion last week but since returned to practice; and Jabari Greer, who returned to practice in the past week from sports hernia surgery.
