Ryan Tannehill's completion percentage vs. blitz is 3rd-worst in NFL

Prior to 2015, Ryan Tannehill had improved each year in just about every statistical category. However, like the rest of the Miami Dolphins, this season has been extremely disappointing. He's completed just over 61 percent of his passes and has 22 touchdowns to 11 interceptions.
While his numbers aren't terrible, they're not what the Dolphins expected when they signed him to a lucrative, long-term contract.
Furthermore, he's underperformed against the blitz. According to Gil Brandt of NFL Network, Tannehill owns the third-worst completion percentage versus the blitz (48.8), better than just Matt Cassel and Colin Kaepernick.
Tannehill has faced the blitz often this season and been under pressure week after week. The Dolphins' offensive line isn't great and has dealt with numerous injuries, but with a guy like Jarvis Landry running short routes out of the slot, he should be much better against the blitz.
He's obviously in the Dolphins' future plans at quarterback, but the team-friendly deal makes it possible for the team to cut ties with him before his contract expires.
