Rhodes out with broken foot

Published Oct. 10, 2011 1:00 a.m. ET

Arizona Cardinals safety Kerry Rhodes has a broken bone in his left foot and will be sidelined for several weeks.

Coach Ken Whisenhunt said on Monday that the injury is not season-ending but surgery may be required.

Rhodes was injured early in Arizona's 34-10 loss at Minnesota. Rashad Johnson will move into Rhodes' free safety spot.
