New Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan thinks that the best way to find your starting quarterback is to let them duke it out the old fashioned way.
According to a report from Dan Hanzus of NFL.com, Ryan plans on holding an open competition at the position:

“It’s going to be open," Rex told WGR-AM earlier this week. "It’s a competition and whoever earns the job will be the guy that’s out there."
Former Florida State star EJ Manuel is entering his third NFL season. The Bills have also traded for Matt Cassel and signed Tyrod Taylor.
Of course, none of the quarterbacks should get too excited considering Ryan expects to run the ball 50 times a game. No, really.
I’m sure that will work out just fine.
