Revis reportedly plans to attend Patriots' White House visit
Darrelle Revis reportedly won't be passing up his chance to meet President Barack Obama.
The All-Pro cornerback plans to attend the New England Patriots' White House visit next Thursday, according to multiple reports.
Revis' departure from the Patriots, who declined to pick up a $20 million team option, should make for some awkward moments at the nation's capital. Revis signed a five-year, $70 million deal this offseason to return to the New York Jets, who drafted him in 2007.
The Patriots filed tampering charges against the Jets after owner Woody Johnson said he would "love" to bring back Revis on Dec. 29. New York fired back, sending its own tampering charge against Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who said he wished Revis were still with the Patriots in March.
