Report: Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro facing four-game suspension for PED violation

Published Nov. 15, 2016 1:41 p.m. ET

The New Orleans Saints have the worst pass defense in the league, and it stands to get even more shaky with safety Kenny Vaccaro facing a four-game suspension for allegedly violating the NFL’s PED policy.

NFL Network is reporting that Vaccaro used Adderall but that he can play Sunday against the Broncos as he awaits final word on his punishment.

Vaccaro has started 51 games for the Saints since he was drafted 15th overall in 2013. He has been part of some truly awful New Orleans defenses -- including the current one that is allowing 300 passing yards per game -- but is regarded as one of the Saints’ better players on that side of the ball.
