Report: Dolphins among teams interested in WR/KR Ace Sanders
The Jacksonville Jaguars pulled somewhat of a surprising move a few weeks ago by cutting wide receiver and return specialist, Ace Sanders. A fourth-round pick in 2013, Sanders hasn't found his footing in the NFL just yet, but a change of scenery could change that.
According to National Football Post, the Miami Dolphins, along with the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions, are interested in Sanders.
The Dolphins in particular are an interesting fit, seeing as they just added three receivers and tight end Jordan Cameron this offseason, but still appear interested in Sanders' ability. With the team stacked at wide receiver right now, Sanders could be a possible fit as a return man, relieving Landry of those duties. The same goes for the Lions and Seahawks, who have talent at the wide receiver position.
In two seasons with the Jaguars, Sanders caught 57 passes with one touchdown, and has only started four games -- all in his first season.
