RB Foster set to start for Texans

Published Oct. 2, 2011 1:00 a.m. ET

Texans running back Arian Foster is set to start against Pittsburgh after sitting out last week's game in New Orleans with a strained left hamstring.

Foster, the NFL's leading rusher in 2010, also was inactive for Houston's opener against Indianapolis and had only 10 carries in the second game against Miami.

Cornerback Kareem Jackson (right knee) and running back Derrick Ward (right ankle) were among the inactive players for the Texans on Sunday.

Left tackle Jonathan Scott (ankle) and right guard Doug Legursky (shoulder) were inactive for Pittsburgh, forcing the Steelers to use their fourth different offensive line this season. Defensive end Brett Keisel (knee) was also out for the Steelers.
