Ray Lewis has now weighed in on Kam Chancellor's contract holdout.

The Ravens great, now an ESPN NFL analyst, appeared on Stephen A. Smith's radio show and gave his opinion regarding the situation.

"I would never leave my brothers in battle," Lewis said. "Never. Not over money."

Lewis prefaced his answer saying he 'loves' Chancellor and understands both sides, but reiterated money cannot come before playing with and for your teammates.

"The one thing I always told my agent: 'Don't put me in a position where I have to choose between that decision and me being on the field," Lewis said.

The Seahawks missed Chancellor's presence on the field in Week 1.

How much longer they'll be without him is still one of the more pressing questions surrounding the team.
