Justin Tucker can plan on sticking around with the Baltimore Ravens for at least one more season.

Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome on Wednesday said the team will place the franchise tag on Tucker if the team is unable to sign the kicker to a contract extension.

"We've had some discussions, but we will franchise Justin if we do not get a deal done," Newsome said while addressing the media at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. "Even if we do franchise him, we will continue to work to negotiate to try to get a deal done."

Tucker converted 33-of-40 field goal attempts this past season, with six of his misses coming from 50 yards or longer. He has the second-highest success rate of all-time at 87.8 percent, converting on 130-of-148 attempts in his four seasons with Baltimore.
