Ravens' Harbaugh has his fingers crossed for Perriman return

The Baltimore Ravens are still clinging to hope that their first-round pick will get on the field at some point this season.

Breshad Perriman, the 26th overall pick, has been sidelined since injuring his knee on the first day of training camp. On Oct. 1, it was reported that he had surgery to repair a torn PCL after having a setback in pregame warmups on Sept. 27.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh believes that Perriman is making progress, but once again refused to put a timetable on a return.

"I’m still hopeful, got our fingers crossed," Harbaugh said per The Baltimore Sun. "He hasn’t been put on IR yet, so we still have a shot.”

The Ravens could use a speedy deep threat like Perriman to stretch the field. Steve Smith Sr. has been the team's only consistent weapon in the passing game as the Ravens have struggled to a 1-6 start.
