Rams' Aaron Donald ejected for making contact with official

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) Los Angeles Rams star defender Aaron Donald was ejected from the season opener after making contact with an official.

The ejection came in the fourth quarter Monday night after the game got a little heated when Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree gave an extra push to San Francisco quarterback Blaine Gabbert following a scramble.

As players on both teams started jawing, Donald pushed a 49ers player and then made contact with an official. Donald was called for two personal fouls on the play and then ejected.
