Raiders re-sign OL Langston Walker

The Oakland Raiders have re-signed free agent offensive tackle Langston Walker.

The team announced the move on its Web site Friday. Walker rejoined the Raiders midway through last season and played sparingly.

With former right tackle Cornell Green having left for Buffalo, Walker could have a chance to compete for his former spot on Oakland's line. Coach Tom Cable had previously said Khalif Barnes and Erik Pears would battle for that job.

Walker was a second-round pick by the Raiders in 2002 and spent his first five NFL seasons with the team. He left to sign a five-year, $25 million contract with Buffalo before the 2007 season and was cut by the Bills before last season.
