Raiders hire secondary coaches

ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) The Oakland Raiders have hired Joe Woods as defensive backs coach and Marcus Robertson as assistant secondary coach.

The team confirmed the moves on Monday that Woods and Robertson will replace Johnnie Lynn and Clayton Lopez.

Woods spent the past eight years coaching the secondary in Minnesota and has been an NFL assistant for 10 years. Robertson played 12 years in the NFL and has been an assistant for nine seasons, including the past two in Detroit.

The Raiders set franchise worsts in touchdown passes allowed last season with 33 and passer rating against with 105.1, leading to the change on coach Dennis Allen's staff.
