Week 12 saw multiple top-5 teams fall, creating a shift at the top of the Power Rankings. Dallas still continues their dominance and hold the number 1 spot.

The Week 13 Power Rankings are here. With both Denver and Seattle falling, we have a new top-5. The top two spots have not changed however, as Dallas and New England have clearly been the two best, and most consistent teams in the NFL. See how they rank here:

1. Dallas Cowboys (1)

If it wasn’t official already, the Cowboys have two bonafide rookie superstars, and are the bonafide number one team in the NFL. What a time to be a Cowboys fan.

2. New England Patriots (2)

The Pats had their struggles Sunday, but ultimately pulled it out when it mattered—something great teams do. Something concerning though, is that Gronk left with a back injury. Back injuries aren’t typically injuries that heal quickly. If Gronk is out, the Pats aren’t the same team. This is certainly something to keep an eye on.

3. Oakland Raiders (3)

It seems every week that the Raiders find new ways to win. What is becoming more and more apparent is that Derek Carr is on a quick path to greatness. The Raiders are going to be good for a long time.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (6)

Talk about a gut check. The Chiefs just stole a game they weren’t supposed to win in one of the toughest places to play in all the world. Kansas City has a tendency to play up or down to their opponents, but if they can keep the pedal to the metal, they certainly have a great shot to win the AFC West.

5. Atlanta Falcons (7)

As if the Falcons offense wasn’t potent enough, throw in a speedster like Taylor Gabriel and this could be an offense that can reach a Super Bowl. The Falcons just dismantled the Cardinals Sunday, and Gabriel was unleashed on the scene. Defensive coordinators beware, the Falcons are very good.

6. New York Giants (9)

It’s not always pretty, but 8-3 is 8-3. The Giants are hot, and have found out how to win the close ones that they couldn’t win a year ago. Barring a collapse, this team should find a way to get a wildcard birth at the very least. They also happen to be the only team to beat the Cowboys, so an NFC East title isn’t out of question if they can beat them again.

7. Miami Dolphins (10)

If the season ended today, the Dolphins would be in, and the defending champion Broncos would be out. There was a time early in the year where the Dolphins appeared to be the worst team in the NFL. Since then, they’ve won six straight, and would like to give the Patriots a run for the AFC East.

8. Seattle Seahawks (4)

If there is one thing the Seahawks are struggling with, it’s offensive consistency. The Seahawks now have three games this season where they have scored no touchdowns. Other games their offense looks unstoppable. Which Seahawks team will show up on a week-to-week basis is a complete mystery.

9. Denver Broncos (9)

This was a bad loss for the Broncos. They are now two games back in the AFC West and only 1-3 in the division. The hardest part of their schedule is still to come.

If there is some positive from this terrible loss—Trevor Siemian and the offense played GREAT in the second half. The Broncos outgained the Chiefs nearly 2-1, but still managed to lose the game. Now the Broncos don’t seem to be a sure thing to make the playoffs.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers (11)

The Steelers Thanksgiving Night win was probably a little bit closer than they would have hoped against the Scott Tolzien-led Colts. However, a win is a win and they remain tied with the Ravens for the division lead.

The Steelers are still the favorites to win the AFC North, provided they can remain healthy.

11. Washington Redskins (8)

Dallas just proved to be too tough for the Redskins, as they have with most teams this season. Fear not though Redskins fans—Washington is still in a prime position to make the playoffs via the wildcard slot, and they have a very good quarterback. If they get hot at the right time, who knows.

12. Detroit Lions (15)

The Lions just keep on winning, and if we are being honest, they should be 8-3 or even 9-2. They have to be considered the favorites to win the NFC North.

Still hard to think the Packers won’t give them a late push, but with 2 wins in hand against the Vikings, they essentially have a two-game lead on both the Vikings and the Packers.

13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (22)

Talk about back-to-back statement wins. The Bucs just held the Seahawks offense to three points, with the other two coming on a safety. This team is here to compete for a playoff spot.

If they continue their level of play on the defensive side of the ball, there is no doubt they will get there.

14. Tennessee Titans (17)

The defensive side of the ball is a definite concern, but the Titans offense is suddenly a finely tuned machine. They boast a top rushing attack, and have combined that with a young quarterback who is really coming into his own.

These aren’t your same pushover Titans from years past. This team is ready to take the AFC South by the horns.

15. Minnesota Vikings (13)

This one really hurts for the Vikings. Now they have to finish ahead of the Lions in the standings in order to win the division, and the way they have been playing of late, that seems unlikely with only 5 games to play.

16. Philadelphia Eagles (12)

After a very hot start, and some great wins, the Eagles have really come back to life. This was always a rebuilding year for the Eagles, but the fact that they have a +41 scoring margin on the year is a sign that next year, they could be ready to compete.

17. Baltimore Ravens (20)

The Ravens need to keep on winning if they have plans to return to the postseason. The week 16 match up with the Steelers is certainly circled on their calendar as the biggest game remaining.

The best news for the Ravens is they have already beaten the Steelers once—another win and the tiebreaker would go to them.

18. New Orleans Saints (24)

When the Saints offense is humming, it is really humming. Rookie receiver Michael Thomas is quickly becoming Drew Brees’ favorite target, and the Saints have remained in the race for the NFC South, although they have a lot of work to do.

If they play on offense the way they did Sunday, they will be hard to beat.

19. Arizona Cardinals (14)

The Cardinals look like a team that is going to need to reload on offense in the coming years. Carson Palmer is not playing up to the level he performed at a year ago. Their best receiver is aging as well.

It may be time to go and get a young quarterback, and build around David Johnson.

20. Buffalo Bills (23)

The Bills aren’t going away in the AFC, and just got back their best receiver in Sammy Watkins. Rex Ryan has his team playing well, and they will be making a strong push to get into the playoffs for the first time this millennium.

21. San Diego Chargers (21)

It’s going to end up being too little, too late for the Chargers, but they can hang their hats on the fact that they are a good football team.

The Chargers have outscored their opponents by 22 points on the year. The Texans team they just beat has been outscored by 42 points on the year.

Unfortunately for the Chargers, they have very little hope to make the playoffs, and the Texans are leading their division. NFL stands for “Not Fair League.”

22. Houston Texans (16)

Things are beginning to fall apart for the Texans. Brock Osweiler has officially become a bust. The Titans are right on the Texans heels, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see the Colts pass them by years end.

The Texans have the scoring margin of a 4-7 or 5-6 team. It would be shocking if they held on to their division lead at the level they are playing.

23. Green Bay Packers (26)

You didn’t count the Packers out of this did you? With a nice win to end the skid, the Packers are now two games back of the Lions. They have already beaten the Lions once, meaning if they can take the second game, they would only need to tie them to beat them.

If any 5-6 team is capable of catching fire, it is this one. Aaron Rodgers is still an elite quarterback, and has weapons around him. It should be an interesting 5 games.

24. Carolina Panthers (18)

This is likely the nail in the coffin for the Panthers. Every game they won in close fashion a year ago, they have seemed to lose this season.

The best they could possibly finish is 9-7, which likely won’t get it done considering the way the Falcons, Bucs, and Saints are playing.

25. Indianapolis Colts (19)

This was the worst possible time for Andrew Luck to get a concussion. The Colts had played very well in their previous two games.

Despite all of this, they still have a chance to win this poor division. If Luck can come back and they can regain that high level of play, it certainly wouldn’t be a surprise to see Andrew Luck and Co. in the dance.

26. Cincinnati Bengals (25)

This has been a nightmare season for these Bengals who will not make the playoffs. However, with a nightmare season typically comes a top draft pick.

For a team that was stripped of a lot of talent in free agency, a talent influx could be very helpful for them to rebound in 2017.

27. Chicago Bears (27)

The Bears nearly pulled off the comeback win but came up just short. Perhaps the best part of the game was watching an emotionless Jay Cutler on the sideline try to stay engaged.

The Bears have likely seen the last of Cutler in Chicago.

28. New York Jets (28)

The Jets team that played Sunday was far more reminiscent of the Jets team of 2015. They had a chance to beat the mighty Patriots. Really not sure why Ryan Fitzpatrick is still playing, given the two young quarterbacks on their roster, and their record.

Coach Todd Bowles is saying he still wants to win—can’t fault him for that.

29. Los Angeles Rams (29)

Remember when the Rams were winning the NFC West? That sure seems like a long time ago. The good news here is that Jared Goff looked like a starting quarterback Sunday.

The defense, however, didn’t look like they belonged.

30. San Francisco 49ers (30)

The Niners have played tough the past few games. The void of talent on the defensive side of the ball is just too large to overcome.

However, the 49ers are going to have to make a decision on Colin Kaepernick in the offseason. He is starting to resemble the 2012/2013 version of himself, which will make the decision a tough on.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars (31)

They sure did look great on paper in the offseason. Since then they have been a complete and utter disaster. They have no excuses for being 2-9. Time to find a new coach, and maybe a new quarterback. Tony Romo could probably do a lot more with this team then Bortles has.

32. Cleveland Browns (32)

What more is there to say about the Browns? They are going to have a lot of draft picks, including their choice at anyone in the draft.
