The New England Patriots are getting dangerously thin at wide receiver with two wideouts suffering injuries against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.

Aaron Dobson suffered an ankle injury earlier in the game and was unable to return. Later, Amendola injured his knee and was out for the remainder of the game. With Julian Edelman already out, the Patriots can't afford to suffer another serious injury.

According to Albert Breer of NFL Network, Amendola will have an MRI on his knee Tuesday to determine the severity of the injury. FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo said the team believes it isn't serious, but the tests will be taken to confirm their hopes.

Chris Harper stepped in throughout the game, a receiver who was on the practice squad as of last week. Brandon LaFell was also healthy, catching four passes for 66 yards. Amendola, himself, also had a great game, catching nine passes for 117 yards, though he didn't find the end zone.
