NostraButkus: 5 Bold Predictions for Chicago Bears vs Jacksonville Jaguars

NotraButkus has returned for 5 more terrifyingly accurate predictions for the Chicago Bears game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
NostraButkus’ predictions are beyond accurate. They are down right spooky. After another ridiculously accurate session last week, NostraButkus has returned for his predictions for the upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday at Soldier Field.
Last week, NostraButkus told you Andrew Luck would throw for over 300 yards, he told you the Bears would amass more than three sacks. He told you that Jordan Howard would top 100 yards rushing, he told you Jerrell Freeman would again make a significant impact on defense, and to top things off, he told you the exact final score of 29-23.
His accuracy is truly remarkable. His followers bow down before him in awe of his abilities. As the Bears prepare for their sixth game of the season, fans can skip watching the game, and just read below.
5. Alshon Jeffery will not lead the team in targets

Apparently, Dowell Loggains doesn’t believe in working the ball to his best player. Loggains was quoted earlier in the week that the coverage the defense provides will determine where Brian Hoyer passes the football.
Well unfortunately, most NFL defensive coordinators know what they are doing and they try to take away the best option on offense. For the Bears, that’s clearly Jeffery. Loggains won’t have learned his lesson yet that sometimes you need to make an effort to work your best player the ball.
Jeffery will be targeted but it won’t be the highest on the team. After his frustration boiled over at the end of last week’s game against the Colts, this could be developing into a combustible situation if the Bears don’t start making an effort to get their star player the football.
4. Blake Bortles will be intercepted twice

Bortles continues to develop into a legitimate NFL quarterback but he’s inconsistent with how he protects the football. He’s had games this season where he didn’t throw any interceptions, but threw as many as three in a game as well.
The Bears don’t force a ton of turnovers, but they will manage to wrangle themselves a couple of interceptions on Sunday. The Bears corners are playing better and having tighter coverage on the football. That’s going to create a couple of opportunities for turnovers when Bortles forces the ball into coverage.
I expect one of the front seven to grab an interception on a short pass (probably Jerrell Freeman) and expect Bryce Callahan to get off the cuff and get an interception in this game as well.
3. Jordan Howard will continue his phenomenal stretch

One of the main reasons the offense has clicked is thanks to Jordan Howard’s phenomenal play. He will keep it up against Jacksonville this week as well. Howard may not top 100 yards rushing this game, but he will top 100 all-purpose yards again and be a key cog in the offense.
Howard will be the Bears’ workhorse yet again with around 20 touches in this game and he will start being discussed in football conversations as one of the top ten backs in the entire league.
2. The Bears will topple 400 yards of offense for the third consecutive week

With Brian Hoyer not turning the ball over, the offensive line clicking, and Jordan Howard playing like a star, the offense looks good right now. That trend will continue against Jacksonville and the Bears will top 400 yards of offense again. They won’t approach the 500+ they had against the Colts, but 400 yards against a better defense will be nothing to sneeze at.
The Bears will show that this team is continually improving and significantly better than the team they were the first couple weeks of the season. Whether it’s too late to right the ship this season is still anybody’s guess but it will be better seeing the Bears competitive for another week.
1. The Bears will win their second game of the season

The Bears almost had a victory last week, and might have had one if Hoyer had seen Jeffery open on the left sideline on fourth down. Unfortunately that didn’t happen and the Bears came up a little short.
This week, the Bears will win the TOP battle and the turnover battle and with the strength of the home crown behind them, they will get themselves another victory. Not only will the Bears win their second game of the year, but they will do so by more than one score. Analysts will consider this Chicago’s best performance of the season.
Final Score- Chicago Bears 27, Jacksonville Jaguars 16
