Nevada Senate Passes Raiders Stadium Bill
The Las Vegas Raiders are another step closer to becoming a reality.
A proposal that would build the Raiders a Las Vegas stadium using $750M in public funds (generated from a tourist/hotel tax) was approved by the state Senate in a 16-5 vote.

The next step is for the bill to be seen by the state Assembly, which will happen on Thursday.
If the bill can pass through all required levels of the state, there is still a matter of the NFL approving the project.
Which as Jason Cole explains, may not be a sure thing.

Mike Florio also noted that more owners are beginning to express concerns with the project.
So while more progress has been made, just like with the Carson Project, these things take time, and require a lot of hoops to be jumped through.
