Mike McCarthy 'not aware' Packers held a players-only meeting

If the Green Bay Packers held a players-only meeting recently, head coach Mike McCarthy knew nothing about it. When the team reconvened for practice on Sunday, McCarthy said he was "not aware" of any such meeting taking place, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.
McCarthy on the players meeting reference by @CollinsworthNBC "I'm not aware of it. If it happened, it had to be away from here."

The report of a players-only meeting came from NBC color commentator Cris Collinsworth, who mentioned it during the broadcast of the Packers' 17-13 loss to the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving night.
"They had a little players-only meeting this past couple weeks ago before that Minnesota game," Collinsworth said, via Pro Football Talk. "I don't think Aaron Rodgers was too happy with the preparation schedule of some of the young players on this team. A few too many video games being played and not enough homework."
If the meeting did occur, the effects only lasted one week. Although the Packers pulled things together to pick up an impressive win against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11, they've dropped four of their last five matchups.
Green Bay might need another players-only meeting soon, if the downward spiral continues.
