The Atlanta Falcons and veteran center Todd McClure have agreed to terms on a one-year contract.
The team made the announcement Tuesday.
McClure, who will return for his 14th season with the Falcons, had his franchise-best streak of 144 consecutive starts ended when a knee injury forced him to miss last year's season-opening loss at Chicago. He returned to start the 14 of the next 15 games.
McClure was a seventh-round draft choice out of LSU in 1999. He took over as the starting center midway through 2000 and has held the job ever since.
