Marshawn Lynch built a pathetic shelter on 'Running Wild with Bear Grylls'

Despite being out of the spotlight now that he’s retired, Marshawn Lynch has kept busy since stepping away from the game. He’s traveled to foreign countries, played rugby and even appeared in a “Madden” commercial. His biggest accomplishment yet, however, was venturing into the wilderness with Bear Grylls.

Lynch appeared on an episode of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls” recently, and he was not pleased to discover a blow-up tent was not at his disposal. Instead, this was his shelter.

“I think the theme of this show should be, not ‘Running Wild.’ It should be ‘Bear be tripping on mountains.’”

Good suggestion, Beast Mode, but that probably won’t stick.

All things considered, it seems like Lynch handled the wilderness fairly well. He made a bed out of tree shrubbery and opted not to take Grylls’ offer for the more luxurious “bed.”

You can watch the full episode here, where Lynch also learns to hunt a boar and cook it.
