Manziel reportedly living with former high school coach
Johnny Manziel has recently made some changes to his living situation. He moved from a downtown apartment to a more suburban, quiet neighborhood.
But Johnny Football appears to have taken it a step further. The Cleveland Browns quarterback is living with his former high school coach, Browns cornerback Joe Haden told ESPN.
Though Haden didn't reveal the coach's name, an athletic department official from Kerrville Tivy High School (Texas) confirmed to ESPN that it is Julius Scott, who was the school's former offensive coordinator.
Manziel has attempted to change his lifestyle since being released from rehab in April, and this appears to be another step in that direction. According to the Houston Chronicle, Scott was a disciplinarian and Manziel told the newspaper that Scott " had the single biggest impact on my development as a player."
Manziel also told the Chronicle that he would never have won the Heisman Trophy without Scott's input. Will Scott have the same impact on Manziel's NFL career? He played five games before a season-ending hamstring injury, completing 51.4 percent of his passes with zero passing touchdowns and two interceptions.
