Locked On Chiefs - Steelers Keys and Matchups
Injuries confront both teams as they prepare for primetime Sunday Night Football.
The Steelers could be without their fastest player in Ryan Shazier on Sunday night when they host the Chiefs. He missed practice again on Thursday and could be ruled out as early as later today. That would be a huge loss for the Steelers and their ability to effectively cover the Chiefs very athletic TE’s. The Steelers also could be without a couple of offensive lineman in Ramon Foster and BJ Kinney. If that ends up being the case on Sunday night look for the Chiefs to be sending pressure through that gap and the defensive line really trying to wreak havoc in the backfield.
On the Plus side, guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif appears ready to return to the lineup. Parker Ehinger may need the bye week to get healthy.

Will he be ready?
Jamaal Charles was again a limited participant at practice on Thursday and at this point I hope they just to hold him out. Kansas City could really use a win on Sunday but they should be able to get that done without Charles. If the Chiefs offense shows up for four quarters and Peters can play the Chiefs can win the game Sunday night.
