Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate was on the field Monday for the team's opening practice of training camp, according to a report on the team's official website.
Tate has been taken off the physically unable to perform list after being added to it last week for a shoulder injury that sidelined him during minicamp in June.
Tate was signed to a five-year, $31 million contract earlier this spring. Last season, he played for the Super Bowl-champion Seattle Seahawks and caught 64 passes for 898 yards and five touchdowns.
